eggs? but thats not possible...

I looked into my tank this morning, and saw 2 small white spheres on my plants. I thought they might have just been some sort of waste, or algea, so I left them. When I came home from school, I noticed that there are 20 ish of them, all throughout my plants.

Info : 30 gallon, 2 youngish Orandas, NO snails. Eggs: Very small=1mm, clear jelly with white blob inside.

I read through some old posts, and somebody described the eggs like mine, and the response was that they were snail eggs. This isnt possible in my tank, because it was brand new, and I got orandas on April 2 (Now June 17), and I havent seen any snails. Also, I am in doubt, because I heard orandas like to lay eggs on flat surfaces, and these eggs are scattered through my "spikey" plants.

Are these actually eggs? or bacteria of some strange mutation? If they are eggs, how will I know if they are fertilized or not? If they are fertilized, how long will it take for them to hatch?

Is it a single egg in the jelly blob, or several eggs?

Goldfish actually lay their eggs in things like roots of floating plants (mine use the water hyacinth in the pond and breeders generally hang mop looking things in their tanks).

Sorry I didn't really explain that properly...Its not a bunch of eggs in a jelly blob, the eggs themselves are somewhat translucent (like jelly) with 1 white bit inside, and the white is not in the center, it towards the edge, hooked onto the side. I may be able to get you a picture tomorrow.

Today the white part seems to be separating a little, or growing out of the jelly part. The "eggs" are less spherical than yesterday, but still look somewhat egglike. I suppose the they are unfertile and just decaying. I checked my fish for some sort of disease appearance, but they seem to be perfectly active and healthy.
