| Most plecos love algeae waffers. I would recommend "Hikari Algae waffers", my friends use em and not only the plecos eat them, other fish also enjoy them. (exuse my spelling) |

You mean something like hair algae from a pond? If it's a natural/wild pond, I wouldn't try it because you never know what kinds of nasties could be living in the algae. I have a goldfish pond and I've often thought about drying some of the algae from it to feed to my plecos, but I never got around to doing it so I'm not sure if it would hurt any or not.
