I was thinking of getting a 2 gallon bowl and putting 2 gold snails and a female betta in it.
Does that sound like a good plan??

As long as you do 100% water changes once a week that should be fine. I have a betta and 3 snails (just added the 3rd, but I might move it) in a 3 gallon.

I think you should also add some live plants if you have enough light. Good luck with your tank(':D').
