I bought a 2 1/2 gallon tank the other day and put a divider in,a dn divided off 1/3 of the tank. I left the other 2/3 for the male I had on hold at my LFS. He is a beautiful crowntail with a brilliant red base and streaks of sky blue in his tail. The other 1/3 I might try to put maybe 2 females in and see if he makes a nest but if not I might jsut find another male but Im hoping to try the females. I just think it looks really great now that its finally done. Maybe I can try to post a pic, I know theres alot of betta fans out there Laughing -tl

3 bettas is too much for a 2 1/2 gallon tank. Personally, I'd just let the male have the whole tank. Maybe add a snail, but that's about it.
