Ok i have a tiger oscar (8-9")
2 bala sharks (5") - used to be three but one "disappeared"
1 pictus cat

My tank seems kind of bare....any ideas?? I asked the LFS and they said i could not add anything with an oscar that size becuase he will eat it (has eaten one bala already).....i am hoping i can do something else

if i could start again i would have done a tank with smaller fish, but i bought walt and cant part with him (tiger oscar)

thanks for the help all!

It is very likely that you won't be able to add anything else with your oscar being so large. Most of the fish you'll find at LFS's are too small and will probably get eaten. If you could by some chance find some large ones, I would add a couple more balas, but the hard part will be finding large ones. If you could find some that are at least 6" and you rearranged the tank decorations (to break up Walt's territory) before adding them, it might work.
