| all depends on the cichlid........some are only a few inches while others can grow to be 18"+ |

| Like grnlemonade said there 1000's of cichlids.. I think Keyholes would be nice in a 30gallon. Maybe some mbunas africans? |

You're still going to have to be more specific. There's africans such as shell dwellers that only get 2", mbuna that generally average 4" - 6", and haps that can range anywhere from 4" - 12"+.
