So my breeder friend told me about this little article involving Boerboels in Dog World the other day so I went to find out what she was talking about... LOW AND BEHOLD I see ON THE COVER in the list of featured stories is non other than The South African Boerboel listed!!! I bought the magazine and sat in the parkinglot reading the two page article about the breed... GREAT article for the most part except that they made them out to be more of an "English Mastiff" type and didn't touch on the fact that they are a large powerfull guardian breed...the rest was interresting... Breeders listed in the breeders stuff weren't too hot but...hey...at least we made the magazine!!! I'm pretty excited!!!

Not even close to being AKC yet...so...don't hold your breath... That I'm not so excited at the prospect of... Don't want them ending up like the other mastiffs in the AKC... Lazy droolers is NOT what they are and should ever be...though...I'd LOVE to see the Neo there!!!
