Finally, this must have been the 6th breeder I went through, but I've found my puppy! She is a white longhaired Chihuahua and her name is Chloé.

I was supposed to pick her up yesterday [see story in my last topic] but it turns out I'll have to wait just a few more weeks. Here are some pictures of her though.

She's 8 weeks old here. She's a really tiny girl and doesn't look much like a Chihuahua, IMO. She's a longcoat so her fur is going through a very awkward puppy phase where it's all curly. A curly floppy eared Chi Laughing She's a bit of an oddball but that's why I love her.

Thanks everyone!! Surprised
Once she comes home I'll be sure to go picture crazy for all of you =) She's not completely long haired right now, right now she's just really really fluffy, reminds me more of a Maltese than a chi at the moment. Once she gets around 6 months her coat will have grown in and be long and soft and all her puppy curls will be gone.

Sam I'm so sad to hear about your first chi, what was wrong with her? Crying or Very sad But I'm glad you got another one, I'm sure Tubby is sweet and adorable too! I've missed so much, have you posted any pictures of your new chi baby?

Don't worry about the floppy ears - their ears don't become erect until about four months of age, but it depends on the individual dog. She's cute as a button!

The first puppy "Loua" died of coccidiosis....by the time we figured out something was wrong, it was too late. We had her three days...

Tubby's ears were slightly floppy when we got her. But now she's 8weeks and they are fully erect.

My ACD puppies ears become erect at about 4-7 weeks of age. Some times (but rarely) they remain floppy, if they do that shows either damage to the cartledge in the ears or there's a fault in the dog....

Gwen, your pup is very cute. Last I heard you were getting a malt. She does look very malt like right now.
