I like blues, greens, and purples because those are my favorite colors. But I've also seen some really pretty opaques (white).

I'm partial to white (as a solid color) Although I don't have any white ones now, I used to have a solid white with black eyes (Ghost) and a white short finned betta that looked like he had a blue wash (Spike).

For mixed colors I'd go with Dex's color. His body is an irredescent purple/red and he has reddish fins. Previously I've had 2 other bettas with the same color as Dex. Just can't get enought of that color!

Dex looks like this betta (except his body color is much birghter):

Wow! I didn't know that there were black and green betta. I didn't vote because I think that I would have a very cery cery close tie between a green, blue, red, white and also a yellow or gold. I haven't seen peach either. I would like to see one.

I quite like mine, he is a 4 month old male and does not have a solid color state, he changes between red, blue, green, purple and a silver color.

I'm not so fond of that green one. I thought it was like a different type of green. I guess it is too bad then.
