The easiest way I've found to do it is this:

-Use Tinypic.com to host you picture
-Copy the URL
-Paste it in the box beside "Link to off-site Avatar:" in your profile.

I copied & pasted the URL link from tinypic.com to the avatar section of my profile and clicked on submit. When it didn't show up in my previous "test" replies, I went back to check and it has disappeared. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
