Ok...i've been trying to find this horse for years, and I just occured that maybe someone here would be able to help me.
Ok, years ago I worked on a QH breeding farm when I lived in Texas. I halter broke the babies and handled them and got them ready to sell. Well there was this one colt I absolutely fell in love with. I called him Rascal because he was such a little firecracker, and he was gorgeous...oh my...pretty pretty. And all boy, he was very proud of himself. Well, I halter broke him, had him carrying a saddle and a bridle and longing as a yearling...just light stuff..no real work, just messing around...he was my baby. Well, of course as a yearling he was sold. I should have bought him, but I just didn't have the room for another at the time. So for a couple years now I've been trying to track him down...maybe buy him, but I'm most interested in seeing how he turned out. The only problem is, I called the guy I worked for that bred him, and he has no idea where he is, because a lady we both knew set up the sale, but trgically she was killed in a car accident about a year later...so, he's not sure where the horse went. Someone told me I could find him through the AQHA, but I'm not a member and don;t really want to join just to find a horse. His dam's registered name was Dandy RL Reed.. Is is possible to look up a horse by their dam? I'm not sure who the sire was, but I can easily find that out by calling the breeder, we're friends. If so, anybody with an AQHA membership I can paypal some money to for the fee to look up this horse for me?
