Hi all I am new here. I was a member at Terrific Pets but that place has gotten out of control! The trolls rule the place and never get banishment but an upstanding member there whom disagreed on various subjects with a certain moderator was banished beacause of the disagreements with the ADMIN. And that place is full of Pit Bull haters! It drives me nuts!
Anyways my name is Laken and I have two American Pit Bull terriers female and male named Frick & Frack. They are my babies! Frick my male has been uirinating very frequently I am suspecting a UTI but Im not sure so I am taking him to the vet on Monday. Is there anything I can do to make him more comfortable in the meantime?

Hi, Frick-N-Frack. I'm also a relatively new member on T.P. I agree, too, that there's too much nonscense there. That's why I went over there to begin with was because of all the pit bull haters. I thought maybe pit bull lovers could unite and try to enlighted them. Laughing

I also have 2 pit bulls, male and female. (Reese and Grace). I love your names, Frick and Frack. You'll have to post some pictures.

Sorry Frack is having some problems. He may have a bladder, urethra, or prostate infection. All needs to be treated before the infection reaches the kidneys. Usually they start feeling better the same day with medication. You might try giving him some cranberry juice or some of those cranberry caplets from the health aid section of your grocery store or drug store. This might alieviate some of his discomfort over the weekend until you see the Vet on Monday.

Let us know what you find out.

Hello and welcome!!! I'm also on TP and there are many trolls there and disagreements with Admin too. I still go there once in awhile and see whats up with both the haters and lovers of the breed.

I love the names too! Are you going to share pics of these babies?

Now I know where NOT to gooo.... Welcome to the board...

UTI infections are caused by little bacteria that have hooks...they hook onto the bladder etc...and cause pain and frequent urination due to the hooks etc... Cranberry is the only NON-antibiotic treatment that WILL cause those little bacteria to lose their grip and get flushed down the toilet... Whether cranberry is good for dogs I just don't know...so I'd check some places to see if you can in fact SAFELY feed cranberry juice to dogs for UTI's... Hope to see pics of your pooches and hope Frack is feeling better soon!!!

Call me crazy, but has anyone been trying to get on T.P. after their big makeover been successful? Just wondering, or have I been banned, too?
