OH NO! PUTOR CRASHED!!!

Last night I went home and booted up my HP, and NOTHING!!!!!! OMG!!!! I tried all of my system recovery programs and nothing!

The worst part of it is I lost ALL my puppy pics! I had just bought some CD's to back up all of them and now they are gone! Never got the chance to back them up! I cried like a baby.... Sad

Putor goes out today to see what is wrong and if they can retrieve anything!!!!!

I have my one here at work which is the only way to keep in touch with you all.....

Keep your fingers crossed that my babies pics can be retrieved!

Shirley... do you think you could find some of my pics that you have and send them to me at my Dba7796692@aol.com address? THANKS!!!!!

I'm SO sorry Denise!!!! I can't even imagine how you feel.... I have about 500 pics of Molly & Emma, maybe more (I kid you not, digital camera is full ALL of the time) and I would be devastated if I lost all of those. In fact, reading this post just made backing up my pictures a priority.. it's something that always gets put off because you don't think anything will ever happen..

My fingers are crossed, I hope they are able to retrieve them! I hope Shirley has some too..

Denise ,I will look for all the ones not on my site ,the ones on my site just go in and save ,I will start looking tonight and save them and then send them to yu via my yahoo addy as I find them ,Got thousands of pictures to go through ,so may take me awhile ,but i will get them to you as I find them ..

I really hope they can save something! When that happened to my computer last year they were able to save almost everything though, so you have hope! I'm not computer smart so I couldn't tell you exactly what they did, but transferred the hard drive to another computer so they could save everything to a cd then they put the hard drive back in mine and cleared everything out. So luckily everything up until a few days before the virus that crashed my computer was able to be saved, I hope they could do that for you too. I think you just ask them to back up all your files for you and it's like $75 extra, but worth it Smile

only a year old! the first time it happened and we took it in they said it was just the memory that needed to be reseated. well after a week we got it back and it was worse then before, it had to go back in but before it did my son backed up al my documents pics included to a cd. Yesterday microcenter called and they have to replace the entire hard drive we will lose everything! thank goodness we got a chance to abck up the pics onto a cd! Now I am using the old computer but it really stinks! can't wait to get my other one back!

Denise I hope to god you can get those pictures back. This is one reason sending them to a place like photobucket is a good idea. You can always send them back to your files. actually keeping them in two places. Come on girl get with the times. I do have some on c.d. too. Hope things work out for you. I know I can send you the picture of the three of yours from when I posted their picture for you on your post last week, but Shirley probably has that one too.
