| My friend's neice was playing with my skink again, and this time managed to pop the tail off. I know the tail will grow back, but how long should it take? And how great is the risk of infection at the breakoff point? Also, is it normal for the broken off piece of tail to keep flopping around 10+ minutes later? Or was it possessed lol |

| i thought once a lizards tail falls off it doesnt grow back or are skinks speacal |

| They grow back, but are never as pretty as the original one. They are usually short and stumpy. |

almost all lizard tails grow back. |
