I just got this gerbil named Lily, about a week ago, and i just wanted to know if there is any way for me to get her to use her wheel (i got her from a petshop, so she doesnt even know what it is... ) she acts like its her house, she sleeps under it...

u should spin it in front on her and put lots of bedding under the wheel so she doesnt sleep on it,
also , have u tried putting her oon it?

spinning it infront of her can cause danger to the hammy if she gets hit by your hand or the wheel, you cant change a spot where the hammy chose to sleep, thats their little area, mine had been in the same place for a year now and my last one died in her place, also be caredful with putting her on the wheel because she will in the end run off it and be more afraid.

Hopefully she will get used to it, probaly if you put something under it and make somewhere else her bed so she won't under and she would probaly be more curious about and use it. Keep us updated!
