I was told that if you were to bath your dog once a day - this would cause their skin to become dry? How many times do you guys/girls give your dog a bath.

Ours get baths whenever they start to stink (whether just because they havent had a bath in a while or because they rolled in something nasty), usually every couple months or so. If they've been swimming, we rinse them off because the sand and bay water irritates their skin, but only use plain water. Every day is too often to bathe a dog, the oils in their skin and coat are a protective layer for them, and they get stripped away when you bath them, so less is usually better unless there is a medical reason for bathing frequently.
