Hi Kathy5,

Surprised Great Pics, you have very photogenic budgies!

It's kinda funny, my budgie Kiwi looks exactly like yours and my girl Chick looks kind of like willow except she has a very blue chest!

Is a budgie that same as a parakeet? I only ask cause willow looks like a parakeet. Sorry if my question is stupid. He is very beautiful by the way.

Your parakeets are darling! I'm a bird fanatic (14 years old) and I have a budgie too. Her name is Skittles, and she looks exactly like Kiwi! I love her very much, but she has what some call a "blank" personality. What I mean by that is that she doesn't really do stuff. I know, it sounds silly, but I've had her for two years and all she does is perch, preen, and feed. Wink Quirky, eh?

I try to excite her with fun toys, but the most she's ever done is nibble on one. When I let her out of the cage, she sits on the floor and doesn't even change positions until I pick her up and put her to bed. What do you think she does this for?

I really wish I could get another parakeet. I have a Spanish Timbrado canary and they are good friends. My only problem is that my mom hates birds and won't let me get another until I'm in college Confused Which is kind of ironic...because I adore them!

-----------------------------------------------------

Willow is absolutely stunning. Such a cute little guy! If I ever get another parakeet, I would like to get a pied or deep grey mutation.
