i always try to get my parakeet out of the cage with my finger. When he comes close to the door, he hops off.... Confused Is this bad? Will he eventually come out of the cage for once? And when he does, will he get out of control and fly around the house?? Mr. Green

Hi it does take time and patience but he will eventually come out you will also need to have his wings clipped so that catching him will be easier as they cant fly as high or as far as they can when they have all there feathers.
