I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can stop Jada from digging holes in our yard!?! She is fenced in a fairly large area. I cant believe the size of the holes she digs its amazing. Thanks in advance for your help. Very Happy

Jadapit: I go through the same thing with my girl Grace. She dug holes so deep that you could break a leg if you stepped in them.

I was instructed to get her a sandbox filled with sand and start off by burying toys and treat in it and make her dig for them. She loves it!! She can dig for hours.

You can get a hard plastic kiddy pool or construct a box out of of 2x4s. Sand is really cheap, $2 a bag for playsand.

Welcome to the world of terriers! THe name terrier comes from the word terra, which means earth...

Put moth balls or balloons filled a little bit with a small layer of soil on top in the holes they like to dig. They hate the smell/noise. Then put the toys in the sandbox a little bit sticking out. THey will get the idea that that's the place to bury. Keep working at it until they get it.

Yeah it is so funny.....if we give Buffy a treat in the house or at our store she will go crazy trying to bury it in the couch cushions or under our bed pillows. Sometimes even under my husband on the couch. Then she will go on a "treat hunt" at few days later and eat them when she is ready for them. Gotta love em!!!
