| is this possible i have seen my male guppy trying to breed with my female ballon molly could i be seeing a cross between a guppy and ballon molly ?? |

They're the same genus, so I guess it might be possible. I've never heard of it happening before, though.

| I've been doin a ton of reserch on theese things and apparentaly most of this in-breeding happens when the original fish has a defect to begin with, The Koi started when a strand of goldfish after like 2,000 years ended up making one light orange fish, which lucky before it was breed out produced another, so it has something to do with a flying cow, a pinch of clover and some spoons. Good Luck. (Also, t_chelle is right, alot of the time if their genetics are VERY VERY close they can inbreed) |

| Doubtfully, took the koi 2,000 years, send me a post card at 938,384,999,293,937,574,183,373,283,854,384.9 Hell. LOL seriously though, its VERY doubtfull. |

| i wondered about gupies and balloon mollies. i have guppies and ballon mollies in one tank and mollies in another. (sailfin male). |
