My husband and I are looking at buying a Cockateil since our Budgie hasn't come back
My girlfriend and her husband have one and it's a very cute little guy, she's got him whisteling christmas tunes and her kids are trying to teach it to whistle some of their favourite songs.
It's house trained, the cage door she leaves opened for when he wants to get out and come in.
Any people had any troubles with their cockateil's? |

Hiya jody i have cockatiels and i have no problems with them apart from somedays they can be moody and they usually bite and when they do its hard but i suppose all animals have bad days just like us humans other than that they are great birds and are easily taught new things from whistling tunes to actually talking and pushing little bird carts and stuff like that.
