on my tiger barb, i searched for pics on google and it seems that the back fin is light red .... on my tiger barb its like completely clear.... is that a problem?!?! Shocked

here is a picture ... click the link below..... whe nthe install language thing pops up hit cancel and it should bring u to the site.... its blurry picture cuz my camera s**k ... its a picture of my tiger arb eating food ..... but look at the back fin.... its like all clear with a little strip of light red at the top of the fin and the same at the bottom ... is this bad?!?!

another thing about him is he goes in the same spot near the same plant and stays still when i turn the light on and when i turn the light off, he swims normally.... Neutral Neutral Neutral Neutral Neutral

I think he looks normal. He's probably still fairly young so he hasn't gotten his full coloring yet. And as for the hiding, he may just be acting shy. If you just recently got him, he could still be getting used to his new environment. Just keep an eye on him and unless he starts showing some really stressed/sick behavior (laying on side, looking extremely pale, gasping, etc) I wouldn't worry too much.

I agree that fish just doesnt look amture yet..females fins lack much if any of the red coloring seen on males..so that may be it.
