Wasn't that eBay site great??? I have to say, it was an awesome <<first time eBay purchase>> experience. As you know, I got the item SUPER DOOPER FAST!!! and it came in with an adorable label (those people are definitely animal lovers) and even some free snacks/treats! (for bailey, not for me, darnit!)
and thanks for the b/d wishes, malti... i am assuming you were singing that, RRRRRRRIGHT?? |
.
Tomorrow's Bailey's birthday.. tomorrow's Bailey's birthday....
That Ebay store is AWESOME! Love it! I am currently shopping there as we speak... Well, now that I know free snacks/treats come with it... I am definetely buying the collars there!!!
I know I should get small but haven't decided on the colors yet.... any suggestions? |

I got blue (like the color of this text, blue) for Mickey, and black for Tigger!
Those are just the colors I picked for my babies!!! |

Oh, and I totally forgot to tell you guys...I FINALLY received Mickey & Tigger's collars late Saturday afternoon!!!!!!!!!! I was starting to worry that they were never going to come, but fear not my friends, they made it!!!
And YES, I LOVE 'EM, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is considering getting one!!!
(A friend of mine actually just ordered 3 for her dogs after seeing Mickey & Tigger's new breakaway collars. She had never heard of them before, but thought it was a much safer alternative to her dogs' "normal" collars!!!) |

sure monster is game for another party... as long as I'm invited this time and you hire a maid (or demolition crew) for after!
What all did you buy from that eBay site, Poogirl!?!??
Mybabyshih....
I haven't put Bailey's collar on him yet. I tried it on him the other day to size it.... and, to be honest, it's "bulkier" than I would prefer... since he doesn't normally wear anything, it might take some getting used to. I wish they had a smaller (thinner?) size...... tell me what you think about them for your boys! |

I agree with you 100% Monster!
It is a little bulkier than I expected, but Mickey & Tigger seem to be doing fine anyway. (Although, if there were a thinner/less bulky one, I would probably give it a try and see if it is any better than the current one, but until then, these will do.) So I think I will go ahead and keep them on the two. However, if they were any smaller, I defintiely think it would be way too bulky!!!
Besides that slight issue, I am very happy with the collars!
Just my opinion! |

I figured you would feel the same way -- esp. since the boys are all around the same size.
all this time, I assumed you were putting the black one on Mickey (since he's black!) I bet he looks cute in the blue! I really debated on blue or black when i ordered Bailey's. |

Yep Mickey has the blue collar, and you're right, it really does look cute on him (the contrast is kinda' cool looking)!
(I am taking pics of them, and trying to get a few shots here and there where you get a good view of the collar, but as with a lot of my pics, I never know if they are going to turn out the way I hoped. But, if I get any good pics from it, I'll post 'em on their dogster site!)
Just out of curiosity, did Bailey seem bothered by the collar, or did he not really care? I know with Mickey & Tigger, when I first put it on they were very curious as to what that "thing" was around their neck, but after about 5 mins. they didn't care anymore. |

well, ya know..... he DEFINITELY noticed and was very curious!! He doesn't normally do that with his other collars. I don't know if it was cuz it was new and he could tell (or smell?), or if it was cuz it's bigger than all the others so a little heavier..... I dunno.... I still haven't put it on him for a long period of time because I need to take his tags off his other collars and just have been lazy about it. (ooops) |

I am thinking about ordering the collars for Baxter and Graysie. Can you guys tell me what size you ordered? And I can't remember... how big are Mickey, Tigger & Bailey?
Funny thing, I'll order both blue and black. That's already the color of their collars!

I ordered small for my two guys who weigh right around 10 lbs. (Tigger is a little closer to 11 lbs. though), and the collars fit wonderfully!
I don't know if you have a "flexible ruler" or not, but if you do, measure around your dogs' neck (in inches), add 1 inch to that number, and see what category you fit under in the ordering screen on the web site. I believe small was 10-14", medium 14-20", and so forth.
Do keep in mind though that if you order the collars and they don't fit, you are more than welcome to exchange it (or refund them if you are not fully satisfied). So I would order whatever size you think will work best, and if it is not big enough, go ahead and exchange it!

You'll have to let us know how you like the collars! |

Hi Dbuzz!
Long time no see!
I ordered Bailey's on eBay. It was cheaper (and faster) than the other site. They're $10.99 plus 4.00 shipping.... and on all the other sites they were either 15/16.00 (plus 6.00 shipping). I bought it at the Best Friend's General Store on eBay, the link is?

They had lots of other stuff also.... and the service was GRRRRRRRRREAT! I'll definitely shop there again
Bailey weighs about 13 lbs, and i bought the small size for him. I was actually thinking it was a tad too big, so the medium would have definitely been too big. |

| Thank you both for the info. I'm glad I asked because I was planning on ordering mediums - mine are approximately 10.5 and just under 13 lbs. Sounds like medium may be too big! |
