|
|
This article appeared in the paper today about a pet psychic here in Houston. From this article she does seem to have some real ability however I do remain a skeptic myself. The article did not give out any contact information so I looked her name up in the white pages. The only Lisa Greene listed was for an Attorney at Law but the address is in the neighborhood listed in the article.
I plan to contact her to see what she would charge for a session with Duke. If it's worth the entertainment value then I will get an appointment.
The article states that she wants no information other that the type of pet before a session. If I take Duke she should be able to tell me two things, one that he was initially raised by another family who had to give him up because their older dog was overly agressive toward him and actually injured him in a fight.
The second, of course, would be that we brough Freckles into our family about a year and a half after Duke.
If she can identify one or both of those circumstances then I will be convinced she does have some gift.
Has anyone else taked their dog to a psychic?

My friend tried it with her horse, but didn't have a good experience. Can we say FRAUD! But that's not to say all psychic's are.
Give it a go. It couldn't hurt. |

very interesting. if you have the wrong contact info for this person, try emailing the person who wrote the article -- they can probably provide it.
if it's not too expensive, please go! i am interested in seeing what she has to say |

| I have always wanted to try that myself, purely for entertainment value also. Although I am pretty sure what my dog is thinking...."I adore you and I never want to be without you. " I have a very needy Rott that must be at my side at all times. I'm very interested to hear about the outcome. |

I am intrigued! Have you found out how much it is?
My partner has seen ads about this kind of stuff in magazines- and he thinks it's ridiculous. I thought the ads in the mags were ridiculous also- they were for phone psychics!!! Now how do they read a dog over the phone! lol |

| I have not yet been able to obtain a phone number for this lady but I will. I have emailed the pet shelter where she is suppose to donate 10% of her fees and where she volunteers. I will post an update when I find out how much she charges. Jules, I too think the telephone "psychics" are just a big scam. If I am going to pay for the entertainment I want a face to face session. This lady may indeed be sincere but what she can tell me about Duke will be interesting because he has some very unique background circumstances that cannot be generalized. |

The search for the psychic continues. I emailed the animal shelter where this lady does volunteer work and they emailed back that I could write a snail mail letter to her at the shelter's address. Did so this morning and asked her how much she would charge for a session. Hopefully it will be reasonable enough to have her meet Duke. If she is indeed a real psychic I'm affraid Freckles would make her head explode.
I'll let y'all know if I hear from her. |

Hi Duke's Dad. I've been waiting to see if you'd post an update on this. I'm curious - did you find out any more information on the psychic. Did you go to see her?
Diane in Houston
eta: sorry DD, I somehow missed the post above where you mentioned you sent her a "snail mail" letter.

YEah, I tried it, They told me Sassy is very happy with me and I got her from an abuseful situation. BULL CRAP!!! I pulled her from her momma! AND raised that spoiled horse!!!
Total fraud!!!
I brought that to her attention, and all she had to say was, Now sassy its not nice to lie!
Oh please!
One thing I always wanted to know is, if their psychic, why are they still working when they could be winning the lotto everytime???
Think about it. ......
I do beleive that we sometimes have a 6th scence about things, but nothing like they claim. I know I have dejavo sometimes, and can feel when a stituation isn't good, but come on...... |
