Went up to the mountains and it got a bit cold poor Buster doesn't have alot of hair because of the Addison's Disease and the Steroids. So I was warming him up.... Looking into jackets for dogs found some think I can make the BF's winter vest work fits him good.....yes he donated it to the Buster cause......

In the BF's jacket and didn't mind at all!!!!

Now in one of my shirts and by the fire......

Well after alot of stitching, sore fingers (I don't have a sewing machine...) and try on's for Buster I've adapted the BF's winter vest into a jacket for Buster!!!! Actually turned out really good!!

First thought old vest of Buster's and my long sleeve shirt, it would work for a backup, not very warm though....

Now for the real thing (before alterations to cut pockets out.)

Nice winter vest water resistant nylon shell, poly fill with a wool sweater vest under to wick away any moisture.

Finished product tailored to fit, closed up arm holes to make less drafty & put elastic leg loops on to hold it down by his rump....

Yes I love my dog!!!! And he loves to come with us camping and fishing!!! He won't leave the back of the vehicle to go to the bathroom.... I think he believes we are tricking him to leave the vehicle. Soooo that means I have to make sure he stays warm....He also has a camo backpack coming so he can carry a few of his own items.....
