know how many to go
I went home for lunch and found 4 cats sitting staring at a boot near the door.
This is a clear signal to me that there might be a rodent around Rolling Eyes
So off I went to get my mouse-saving equipment which consists of a sock that I put over my hand (I don't mind saving the little rodents but have issues with touching them I'd just as soon lick the tines of a garden hoe
After donning my mouse-saving gear I quietly tiptoed up to the boot accompanies by my fierce mousehunting dog (she was trying to get my sock).
I moved the boot and little mouse ran under a shoe - with 4 cats and a dog following.
I was able to scoop little mouse up and took him outside. Poor little guy was shivering with fear so I hid him under a leaf.

I'm glad you could save him! Hopefully he was the only one in the house.

I'm glad you saved the mouse. I'm like this too. I even put spiders outside, as my wife rolls her eyes.
