My two parakeets still have mites. I got 4paws mite remover for birds,
but that isnt working. I was searching, and I found diatomacious earth.
Would that help? Here is the web site.

Their beaks are sort of flacking away. Here is a picture of them.
There is no vets around here who does birds.

Hi have you tried vaseline/ petroleum jelly, Gently rub this around the beak where its scaley avoid getting it in the beak or in the nostrils,.
This will suffocate any mites present in the skin.

If that fails then you really need to find a vet that will treat the birds as mites that are attacking the beak and nostrils can cause serious damage and make the beak become deformed...
