OMG I'm so relived. Its not cancer... its eosinophilic stomatitis. Basically an overgrowth of tissue and inflammatory responces that have turned into scar tissues. Its typically caused by a sting or bug bite to one of the secretatory glands in the mouth. you see this more often in cats, due to their "predatory" nature.

I'm sooo relived. They think they got all of it out and the pathology lab said its gone and nothing to worry about. But they too thought it was cancer upon first inspection. WHew!!!!!

Just another one of those cases of mistaken identitiy and stupid similarities in growths!

Me too.Now i have two sickly girls. Angelica just had emergancy surgery to be spayed and have part of her insides removed. UGH!!!!!

One of the best boerboels, and I produced her!! Now she can't be breeding dog, no more shows.... ugh... i swear, seems like everytime i make a good step forward, something comes back and pushes me 10 steps back.

Poor Angelica.... she's resting right now with some fluides and wraps. But at least she's alive and I didn't loose my goofball.

I didn't know you were having worries over a dog possibly having cancer (I've been gone for awhile) but that is such great news. Cancer is horrible!
