Hi, Without knowing how far along she is there is no way to know if she is ready to whelp.

Some dogs hide there food when due to whelp but most do not.
Have you had her to see a vet to make sure all is well and the whelps are not to large to be delivered naturally.

How far into the pregnancy do you think she may be and how long have you had her.
Also how do you know for sure she is pregnant.
A dog going through a phantom pregnancy will show some or all the signs of being in whelp...

Your best bet is to see a vet he/she will be able to tell you how far along she is and when she will whelp..

Please let me know how she gets on
