Hello everyone
We are in the process of moving and my cat *male 3 yr) has decided for the last few days to stop eating drinking or anything else.... only hides and sleeps... I am starting to worry about him, however many ppl have stated he's upset and this is how he is dealing with it... He's not eaten or day now.... I am unsure what to do if anything at all. If anyone else has had this happen to them please let me know how you handled it.... |

| Hi and welcome to Auspet. It sounds like your cat is sick. If he's not drinking, that is not good. Cats can go downhill very quickly without water. Please get him to a vet if he doesn't start eating or drinking very soon. Keep us posted. |

Hi MJ, Welcome to the board. How is your kitty doing? A visit to the vet does sound like a good idea, just to make sure everything is okay.
If you kitty is upset, talking softly to him and reassuring him might help. Maybe take him to a quiet room and sit with him and give him some canned cat food and see if he eats it. Best of luck. |

| How is your cat doing now? My Monty ran away and hid in the garage for a night when we were moving. I wished I would've purchased a large cage and kept him in it. |
