Andy found this little gal at the bank. She just ran up and jumped into the car with him, sat on his lap all the way home and he put her in a crate. I've scoured the lost and found adds and so far haven't found any for this gal...although I'm not sure if I'm looking for a lost Chihuaua add or what...Do you think she's just a bigger tubby Chi? Or some mix...she's about 12" tall and definately an adult... Cute little gal.

That las pic was before I changed my camera settings...weird but you get the idea.

Cute dog, she looks like possibly a rat terrier mix or some type of terrier mix. She doens't look like a Chi to me, not even a larger one, unless she is a chi cross, maybe to a terrier? Her face to me says terrier.

I'd guess rat terrier or toy fox terrier mix.

Oh gee, it just hit me. She looks like a Feist. Neat little dogs, natural squirrel hunters, and they climb trees.

Yeah I had thought of Rat Terriers and hadn't looked at them much till after this post... I'm pretty sure she's fully a Rat Terrier or... Feist as they may be called. She is cute and a doll. If we can't find her home she's staying though...

I think Shine pegged it. Check out this link, looks just liike yours. I did a search since I have never heard of a feist,

Have you taken her in to see if she is microchipped?

Rat terriers it seems are considered a type of Feist ...I didn't know there were so many different types of them out there...feists I mean. Hard to say which type this particular dog is...

I plan to take her to check for a chip on Saturday. We've driven the neighborhood and checked with the shelter and with the paper daily...so far no one's been searching for this dog...odd...perhaps they are out of town. I hope it's not someone who was travelling through and if she does belong to someone traveling through she has a chip... we shall see.
