life has gotten a tad bit busy
furkids are all good - current foster (Gillian) should be going home this weekend. Olivia and Mocha both went home 2 weeks ago and are doing fine. Gilly is the new one, been with me for a week.
Found out Molly's food was on the recall list - waiting for my vet to call back as she has had some kidney issues for the past month he can't figure out.
Working on getting our house on the market to sell while we can still get a penny or 2 for it.
And on that note during the time we get the house on the market, moved and settled in I'm not fostering. It breaks my heart as it could be a few months...but I can't have a foster with strangers coming in and out of my house. Bad enough w/my cats and Molly I'll have to take somewhere during showings cause she's not the friendliest dog.
But I work in the real estate office that'll get my listing...they know they won't be able to return to work in any of my cats get out.
If anyone has any ideas to contain my cats durings showings I'd appreciate hearing them. Since the house will be looked at from top to bottom containing them in one room won't work. And I have to take Molly out for a walk or something during showings so I can't be there.
Zeus and Dixie will hide - those 2 I'm not worried about but Missy considers herself an ambassador of sorts and will try to follow people out the door.

Good luck with your house!

I don't have any ideas on how to contain them, but perhaps post a nice little sign on the inside of the door saying "No matter what the cats tell you, they're not allowed outside. Thank you!" or something to that effect.

Mary, it wont be your office problem, it will other offices agents!. I sold 2 houses with an indoor cat. I had signs on EACH Door, that read,

INDOOR KITTY, DO NOT LEAVE DOOR OPEN. I also made them put it on the MLS so when agents read it, they see it there too.

oh I'll have it everywhere. Our office doesn't show houses until our agents go w/them. I might actually put little Miss Missy, the lover of all things on 2 legs, in the dog crate during showings. And if I know any little kids will be attending I'll have a sign on there "I eat small children" Your the best

You do seem to be very busy lately. I hope your house sells quickly. Are you also looking for a new house now? Looking for a house can be an exciting adventure.

I don't have any suggestions on how to contain Missy. Sorry I can't help there.

I also hope Molly is okay.
