I was changing her bedding and I stupidly let her stand on the table next to me. I played with her many times there before, but this time I got distracted for a moment and the next thing I knew she was on the floor. Since then (last Monday) she has not eaten or drank much and is getting noticibly skinnier. Now the last few days she isn't pooping pellets, instead she is leaving little runny piles. I haven't changed anything recently (food, bedding type, treats, etc...) I heard once from sombody that Guniea Pigs were very sensitive to falls. I don't know if this is true, but I can't think of anything else for her decline in health. She nibbles on carrots and drinks when I hold them up to her. And she is still energetic enough to hide in her igloo and run to it if I move it to another part of her cage. Do her symptoms reflect an injury from a fall? Is there anything I can do to help her? Crying or Very sad
Please Help...any advice is welcomed...

Maybe it shocked her, but you want to make sure she does not have any internal injuries either, Gunieas are very sensitive, especially around the tummy area.. I would take her to a vet, you dont want her to be in any pant or anything...
She may be just soar because of the fall, or it could be more..

what you neep to do is put her in the bathtub in shallow water and let her swim 5-10 min a day for a wk this should help her leg heal properly and keep it active
shes probably in shock so just be gentle w/ her for a while and touch her legs if she sqeals then she probably sprained it or something else then you should take her to a vet
be cautioned though
many vets no nothing about guinea pigs and their special requirements so they might try to treat it like a hamster or something and thats not good so talk to your vet first... Smile
