first Missy and Tilly - they never get this close to each other even after 8 years of living together. I envy the pictures people have of their cats snuggling. Mine don't touch.
and then Zeus - getting his daily grooming from Molly

Great pics. Mary_NH, do you think it's a Siamese thing that they don't like to "snuggle" with other cats? |

Your two siamese kitties look remarkably like two of my own. My oldest, Kitty, is much like the darker colored kitty in your photo's. Her daughter precious, is much lighter, actually like a gray colored siamese.
@ Chessmind :
I wouldn't say all of them. My cat Kitty is the mother of 3 other cats that I have. The two females aren't into the 'snuggle' thing. They prefer not to be held at all and mostly only want attention when they are in heat. Towards other cats, they all will cuddle. Very frequently, I will walk into my bedroom and find all 9 cats cuddling in the middle of the bed.
My male though, is quite spoiled. He is very insistant that you hold him, play with him, talk to him, etc. By far one of the most affection animals I've ever seen.
Kitty herself was at one point in time, very skittish. Now that she's gotten much older though, she craves attention and won't hesitate to climb up to your shoulder. |
