I'm so sorry for your loss. I liked him a lot too, even though I have never met. Funny how we can get attached to other people's fur animals that we have never met on the net. From reading your other post it seems like he was really starting to suffer in the end. It's so sad, but I think he is in a better place now and all that suffering is gone. I certainly know how sad and upsetting it is to lose a fur friend. My thoughts are with you and your family. |

I'm so sorry. All my heart to you and your family. Taz was such a cutie and that pic of him in the chair always cracked me up.
Many many hugs to you! |

I think that this pet food recall may have put taz in the grave
which means it goes back further than there telling taz starting getting sick in oct he was put down in Jan I was feeding him speical kitty from walmart it breaks my heart to know that I may have gotten another 6 wonderful years with him
when I took him to the vet I was told he had kidney failure
I thought it was from old age now I know better
can anyone tell me what I should do to let someone know that they need to look deeper into this pet food recall I do not want want anyone else to have to go throught the heart break that we went through |

hugs to you
I think they know this goes back further. I got an email from Nutro last night that reads
| Quote: |
We have just been made aware that Menu Foods has expanded the date range of their recall. NO New Products are being added and we ask all Nutro customers that have any wet "cuts & gravy style" pet foods product, regardless of the "best by date," to no longer feed these products to their pets and to return them for a full refund. This action is being taken to avoid customers' confusion in reading specific "best by dates" on individual cans and pouches.
|
I was very dismayed to see our local Walmart HAS NOT pulled the Special Kitty foods - there were gravy/chunk style foods on their shelves i did email them last night, and I also emailed our local TV news station to question it.
And they had no notices up to warn people either!!!! |

| I'm really sorry, Kathy. I just heard today that they're making retailers pull the food now. I'm thinking, ummm...why hasn't it already been pulled?! |
