Dominoe our stray/ neglected cat has been causing us all sorts of trouble, he stopped coming round for about 2 weeks and then when he turned up he was getting quite fat, he's been eating somewhere else we think.

Then he came round and started eating the last of the cat food we had in the house, so we chased him off because hes obviously got somewhere else to eat (and it was only for 1 night) and he repaid us that night by spraying all over my brand new plates/ bowls that I'd left on the draining board Mad .

So just when I'm starting to think 'I've really had enough of this' he starts being really cute and accepting a fuss by rolling over onto his back so I could stroke his tummy, purring and meowing.... far from the terrified cat we first met months ago. The last 2 days its got quite cold here, first nights where ice has formed and guess who's been sleeping here!

Also a friend of mine has been looking for a cat and after he heard about Dominoe and saw a picture of him hes really interested in taking him in, in fact hes going to stay over one night just so he can meet him!

I had a feel of Dominoes tummy and it was quite round and I suspect he has worms anyway because he still eats LOTS of food about double the amount any of mine eat, so I wormed him a few days ago and he already has started eating a bit less. I have spoken to the vet about neutering (its been ages since mine were done so I had no idea of costs/recovery time) and they gave me a number so I can get a discount voucher to have it done.
Hopefully things can start getting better for him soon Smile

he sounds like a sweetheart. I'd wait on the neutering to see if your friend like him - perhaps you can split the cost

Hi. That would be great if your friend wants him. He sounds like he's a pretty tame cat. Sorry he sprayed your dishes. The smell is just awful isn't it? Keep us posted on what happens.
