Thanks for that post. Scary article but I think there is a misprint in the article. At one point it says "One dog who had to be euthanized had eaten four large, chocolate-frosted muffins containing about 1 pound of xylitol."
How could four muffins contain 1 pound of that chemical?

Yeah, I saw that too. Those must have been some pretty big muffins if that's right, lol.

Its a common one, its also in some chewing gums, sugar free candies etc. It stimulates insulin to be released so the BG drops to dangerous levels which can be fatal.
