I would just like to say that I am glad that your guppies are growing now. Usually my baby fish don't last too long. You must have been taking really good care of them.

Sad Sorry to hear about your babies.

What type of babies have you had?
Did you have them in a breader or net?
Or in the tank with others who eat them?
How long did they live?

My fry are in a breader. But I plan on setting up a new tank today and taking 1/2 of them and putting them in the tank. I have my other tank at work for the students (but I had to bring it home for spring break).

NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU

Here are some pictures of my fry. One is a picture of half of them and the 2nd is a picure of some of the others. The second picture has a glare on the htop of the pic but you can still see the fry. The third picture showes most of the fry together. I hope you can see them ok. SORRY ABOUT THE GLAIR.

If you are unable to see the pictures please go to http://community.webshots.com/user/kristinasanchez

NOTE TO TINA: THANKS FOR THE HELP WITH THE PICTURES!

I am trying to fix the pictures. So I have been edditing this message.

Hi-Hope I'm not butting in! We are also raising our first baby fish.My 7 yr old daughter has thirty something baby guppies-they are about 1 and 2 months old and I have somewhere around 20 week old mollies. They are all so cute and so much fun to watch. We have a deformed guppy too and I really think it is my daughter's favorite. The guppies are really showing some color now. Alot of them have black tails-like their mother. The mollies are looking like most of them will be marbled. I am hoping for some solid blacks. Angie

Of course you are not butting in, the more the merrier Very Happy
My guppies are going to be three weeks old and they are already sooo big. It looks like the deformity was taken care of as the fish grew because I cannot find any deformed fish at this time and none died that I know of. Maybe the spine straightened itself out somehow, I'll probably never know. Congrats on your fry! Mine also show quite a bit of black (mom's purple with black spots, dad is deep red with a purplish body).
