Max and Mini are both shedding alot of hair. everytime they sit on my lap..or i pick them up my hands and clothes are filled with cat hair. i never used to see cat hair on the furniture and now it is everywhere. i changed their food to a better one about 3 weeks ago...does this have anything to do with the hair shedding? or is it just because of the weather changing and it is really warm here?

eman, I don't know about cats but certain breeds of dogs "blow" their undercoat this time of year when the weather changes.

i'd say it's just the time of the year. Smile

Lex is a total shed ball right now. touch him and he like morphs and leaves half a cat in his wake.

Our cats are shedding too right now. It's the weather and it's getting hot! If the hair is a problem just brush them 1-2 times a day and that will help a lot.

Our kitties are shedding too because of the warm weather. It happens every year around this time so I've been whipping out the Zoom Groom. Works like wonders. I've been getting out softball sizes of fur off Pumpkin and Monty. Rolling Eyes It's too bad the birds won't use the fur for their nests. What a waste! Mr. Green

I've seen my backyard squirrels run off with the big balls of cat fur I've released outside!

you know some people save the cat fur and actually knit stuff out of it... after making it into yarn of course...

i hear the sweaters and stuff are super soft and super warm Mr. Green
