Hi everyone, My stepdaughter has asked me if i would put a picture of her 1yr old cross and see if anyone can tell her what breeds you think he has in him.

The person that bred rocky says that he is a border lakeland terrier x patterdale terrier.

Now i say he looks like he may have some old english sheepdog in him but what do you guys think.

Here is Rocky.

I would have guessed some Old English Sheep Dog too, he also reminds me of a Portuguese Water Dog.

Whatever he is he's a gorgeous dog.

Hard to tell Mike, I cant tell how big he is in the photo. I would definately think hes got OES in him...at first glance he looks like a full, the nose and the colouring mainly. Its hard to tell if theres lakeland in the because every one Ive seen has been 'perfectely groomed' with the 'gruff' facial cut. (I dont know what the right word is for that cut so I call it the gruff look Embarassed )

I dont see Patterdale though. Confused

He stands about 18inchs high thats from floor to his withers.

I agree i do not see any patterdale.

i also agree he does look alot like a Portuguese Water Dog, He was the ugliest dog you could ever meet when she got him at 9weeks old but as he gets older he turning into a handsome dog...
