Wow, I'm impressed with the durability reports! My crew are very powerful chewers and I am spending a small fortune on chew toys! I personally like the kong toys, but the dogs don't really like them unless they are stuffed with peanut butter, cheese, or liver sausage.
The turkey legs are great and well worth the investment - but they are really hard and I worry that they could crack a ceramic tile - or crack a bone in a human foot when dropped!
I am going to look at them again when I go to the big-box petstore in a couple of days. I looks like they may be worth the investment! |

| I have these, but the dogs don't play with them that much. I think they're cute, though! And they have ones with dinosaur tails, too. |

| Pepsi sleeps with hers and will even lay on it to keep the others from taking it outside. It is the first thing she looks for when she comes in the house after I am home from work. |

Wow!! Thanks everyone! My 82pound pup (We stopped by the vet for a social visit and weigh-in today!) has been having a chewing spurt the last week! The poor guy has been trying to chew on everything! Rugs, his blankie, walls, I even caught him nibbling on a chair - he is bored with his old kongs and has demolished most of his other toys!!
So - We stopped by the local Petsmart and picked up one of the Badcuz toys. I didn't realize that they were only $9.99. I was expecting them to be more expensive!
I gave him the toy when we got home - and he is lovin' it!!! Right at this very minute - he is pooped out and taking a nap!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! |

He he.. Yup $10 is worth it. I think I've spent over $200 in toys and chews, when I could have just bought this thing to begin with and only spent $10 |

Yep - I've spent hundreds of dollars too! I bought three sets of those cute nylabone keys in the large size! The first set lasted a month or two. The second set lasted a couple of weeks. The third set was pretty chewed up the first day - I took it away - and that was the end of that!
I have a toy that was claimed to be indestructable by the manufacturer and guaranteed! The toy was destroyed in two weeks by the pup when he was 5 months old! I took it back to the store for an exchange - but they were sold out of that particular item. When they get it back in stock - I will get the exchange and probably bring it over to the humane society for the dogs over there to enjoy! And that toy cost about $17.00!!!
If my little guy destroys this Badcuz (honestly, I don't think that will happen) - his next toy is going to be a cinderblock or a couple of bricks! |

| Well.......... I bought 2 of the Bad Cuz toys this week (Thursday) for my dogs. Buddy my super chewer chewed the feet off of both of them in about 10 minutes. I took the feet away from him and now the purple one has had its squeeker chewed out. The ball part itself seems to be doing good and the red ones squeeker is still intact. I will post if I see any more damage done to them. |

I don't think foot removal would be a problem for any dog of size.
Pepsi and Dowser have started chewing the feet of there red Cuz
and made pretty deep cuts in them but I told them no enough times
that htey have decided to leave the feet intact. But the ears are gone.
I am sure that if Dowser or Duncan decided it was time to end the Cuz
it would just be moments of time to total destruction.
Here is Pepsi with our Cuz.

My mega chewer Buddy is a boxer/lab mix. The only toy I have found that he cant destroy within a few minutes are a tire and rope toy that I found at our local Meijer store (sadly they no longer sell that exact toy) that was only $4.99 and the large white Nyla bone that I got him about a month ago. The one end of the Nyla is ground down but it is holding up over all. I took the Bad Cuz toys away from the pups this weekend because Buddy had destroyed the sqeeker in the red one and had begun to tear it open where the squeeker was. I may be able to bring them out now and then to play fetch with but other than that they are pretty much useless. |
