My Dog is sick!

About 2 days ago my puppy got sick he stopped eating and he stopped wanting to play with his toys and then he just started sleeping and this lasted for about a day and a half and i took him to the vet they said he has a fever and gave him a shot and sent him home so the next day he started vomiting i took him back they kept him this time he has been there for a day and they dont know anything yet but they believe pepper has parvo he is 5 months old and i just got him like amonth ago and had appt for shots but got sick b4 he could them they wont let me see him he has to stay contaminated and they dont want himt o get excited but he is on IV's and they are doing everything they can but i wont know anything until the bloodwork is done . Pray for my precious pepper. Crying or Very sad

Its not that unusual to be asked not to visit, espcially if the pup is in an isolation ward and then if its a busy hospital also, maybe they would let you arrange a time when someone there can stay with you while you visit....(unless your under 18, some hospitals wont let minors back for legal reasons.....my apologies if your not a minor Embarassed

no im not a minor they dont want him to get too excited cause he needs to reast

Thats understandable, it can be difficult to get them to relax again after a visit.

i got a call from the vet he hasnt vomited at all today and he is holding his lil own my baby is a fighter continue to pray just pray u guys cause i know pray changes evrything and i know in my heart my baby is gonna be fine he is gonne be fine cause my lil man is a fighter!

I hope Pepper comes out OK. What kind of dog is he?

Once he is better maybe you can ask the vet to show you how to give him his puppy shot series, and recommend a place to purchase the kits yourself. I always give my dogs the puppy series myself, there is really nothing to it.

MY BABY IS A-OK I CARRIED HIM IN TIME AND HE IS FINE AND DOESNT HAVE IT ANYMORE THEY HAVE A NEW DRIG HERE IN MS FOR PARVO AND ITS A AMAZING MY BABY IS EATING NOW AND PLAYING AND HE IS FINE THE DOCTOR SAYS HE IS A MIRACLE HE TOOK WELL TO THE 6 DAY TREATMENT AT THE VET AND HE IS FINE A-OK THANKS EVERYBODY FOR THE PRAYERS

i think so yes it is i remember him telling em it and i took him the same day he started getting sick so that improved his chances
