Prissy is a mommy now!!!

She had her babies this morning...3/16/06 She is such a good lil momma... she was acting weird all day yesterday and i knew that something was up... she cried and cried all day and wouldnt leave anyone alone, making everyone rub her belly.. well bout 11pm last night you could see that she was VERY uncomfortable and had some discharge from her rear end.. so i just put a litter box in her cage and fresh food and water and tried to wait it out.. she ate a lil. and kept digging and digging in the litter box tring to go potty...i ended up falling alsleep for maybe about 30 min and she was tearing up my sheets on my bed and was reaching outta the cage scratching me so i got up and maybe an hour later at 2:17am the first baby arrived, she had a hard time pusing him out, she screamed and cried, well he came out all orange almost a red color and she started doing her mommy duties... but wouldnt eat the after birth.. well then the next one came at 2:49am she had no problem with that one at all she did it like a pro, this one is all grey but has a orange spot on her head and white chest and belly feet and legs almost looks just like momma, then at 3:14am here comes #3 hes BIG and all white!! she had a lil more trouble pushing him out and was getting a little tired so she didnt really clean him as well and he started getting a blue tint to him and didnt move as much sooo i jumped down there and started rubbing him w/ a towel shile mom helped... i was shocked to see an all white baby.. and then here she goes again at 3:37am #4 arrives feet first the rest were head first she was sooo tired and didnt push that hard it took her maybe 5times just to get the body out but his head was still in sooo i helped a lil the next time she went to push and he came out, and she wouldnt clean him at all she just layed there soo i started rubbing him and she followed after that but it took awhile b4 she delivered the afterbirth and for her to chew the cord, but she did..well this one is all white al well but medium size compared to the other 3 the first to look tiny compared to the white ones...but im proud of my lil girl she did good, shes taking to them great.... she will try and come out of her cage to visit w/ everyone and as soon as she hears even a lil cry shes running back sniffs the babies and runs back to us or even if they dont cry shes always looking back at them... the kids are doing great all day today and they are soo precious....chyanne sat on the bed above her cage the whole time she gave birth and just stared at prissy it was soo cute, and the first time she delivered garfield, simba, chyanne and tito had to come and watch and after that chyanne stayed...and today i caught her cleaning one of the babies while it was eating, then she cleaned prissy... she watches over those babies like they are her own... she did perfect time b/c i was afraid i would be at work when she had them but i was off today so i got to be up all night w/ her sooo im going on 3 hours of sleep right now if that, im tired as well... prissy as soon as the 4th one came out i had to keep checking on her b/c i thought something happened she just put her head down and was out like a light.. if simba wasnt fixed i would swear he was the daddy...lol.. im already attached its gonna be so hard to part w/ these lil guys and so far it looks like 3 boys and 1 girl the grey one is the girl her parts are the only ones that look different even though its really early to tell since they arent even a day old...but illput money on it that thats what they are we named the orange one milo off of milo and otis and the last white one is called lucky as of now and the rest we r still thinking..lol i took pix of the whole thing so ill post them hopefully friday night as of now i am soooooooo tired and mom is to so we r going nite nite..lol

Wow, I'm worn out just reading about the birth lol. And knowing she is so little...Whew! I'm glad everyone's doing well!

thanks everyone.. yes the lil girl baby looks like lil miss prissy..lol and i can understand the orange baby boy but the to white ones????? didnt expect that...they have grown so much already.. they are getting to big to fast.. we have already started to give them names, even though we probably shouldnt do that since im sure they will get new ones when they go to their other homes, but i cant just say ohhh the grey one or the orange one b/c then there are 2 white ones...lol sooo the grey girl that looks like mom is sara(my son got off land b4 time movie) and the orange one is either milo or oliver i havnet decided yet either off of milo and otis or oliver and company..lol and the 3rd white one is blizzard (dunno but thats what my nephew picked even though im not sure) and the 4th white one i call lucky which i will probably change when i get to know his personality but its lucky 4 now b/c he almsot didnt make it....the one lady that wanted one of the babies decided she didnt after she found out they didnt have 6 toes... but there is another lady that comes into work that just lost her 1 and only cat of 16 years that wants one soo shes gonna come by in maybe a week or so and look at them and see what one she wants... they all have to go to good homes i dont want to worry bout them which no matter what i will.. but who ever gets them is going to feel like they are getting an animal from a shelter w/ all the questions im gonna ask...and i would prefer ppl that come into my work that bring their aniamls there that way i can see prissys babies grow up...and the type of clinents that bring in their animal if they even sneeze, the ones who will do anything 4 their animals...can u tell im already attached to them all????lol Embarassed
