| Is it ok to use a filter that was once used in a saltwater tank for freshwater. Of course i know you have to rinse it very well |

| The salt is so deeply set in the filters, that there is no way that you could re-use the actual filter floss material, or media. The filter (machine) could be used if rinsed out well. |

| what about a wet-dry filter with bio balls, can I just rinse off the plastic balls? |
