Well firstly if she is molting you do not breed them as there body is under pressure at the moment.

Both birds need to be 18months or older but younger than 6 years old.
You should do alot of researchj on the problems that can arise during breeding as this should not be taken lightly and a female bird of any age is high risk of egg binding which is fatal if not noticed and treated.

Both birds need to be in good health and should have been in a cage together for atleast 6months before breeding.
Cuttlefish bone and mineral block should be available at all times to the birds..

Most parrakeets do have purple coloured feet.

If you plan on breeding they will need to be caged together for 6months and preferably place there cage in a quiet room away from the other birds.

I will also point out that some birds will never breed and even the ones that do there is no way of knowing if the female will ever produce eggs, Even though you may see them breeding does not mean your going to get eggs as some females never produce eggs.

Also even if you get eggs they may not be fertile this could indicate young birds, Old birds or infertile birds.
