So I FINALLY got the new dog pen finished down here in Victoria! I went home yesterday and gathered all their things and moved them yesterday afternoon. I let them play for a good while till I was getting ready to go to bed. Then for safety sake I crated them. Precious is such a Houdini, I was just sure she was going to break out and run off last night. But not if she's crated! Ha!

So it's been almost 24 hours and no escapes! They both LOVE it down here. We went to Tractor supply earlier and I let them pick out a few treats. Kabuki grabbed a 5lb bad of doggies bones, and Precious went straight for the pig ears... typical, I didn't see that one coming... Rolling Eyes I mean its like crack for her. She's addicted to them!!! and at $1.07 a piece, their not exactly cheap. Not the way she eats them.

Anyhow. I guess I'll go outside and take a pic of their new pen!
I used 7' steel posts, driven 1 1/2 feet in the ground. Stock panel sunk 6" in the ground and then they are wired + welded to the steel posts for double security and then of course the e-fence on top of the kennel and around the bottom perimeter.

Oh, I bought them a BIG new dog house. They both sleep together so I only got one. They WON'T go in it!!! So I put their crates in the pen for "security". But I don't want them tearing up the crates. Any advice on how to get them to stay in the dog house? They have a nice plush bed in there. I put some of their toys in there so they would smell something familiar, not working.

Here's their pen from our back porch:

here's the girls!

The kennel e-system:

And here's Precious. With NO puppies Surprised Surprised Surprised Your the best Laughing Surprised

Ok. I didn't want to admit it. But yes. I crawled in with them!
LOL

Both of them are getting chunky. Kabuki FINALLY looks good. She's starting to fill out and not be so lanky. Precious just puts on weight by looking at food. Kinda like me.... LOL
