I want to get some new fish with my silver dollars. I was wondering like lemon tetras or black phantom tetras, any tetras really, I just want more action in there.

Also, when i get tired of my silver dollars and stuff. what do you guys think about Freshwater Flounder. I'm a big fisherman i live about 200 yards from a river and i usually catch flounder and it would be cool to raise one. what do you think abot them?

Maybe you should wait until you can get a bigger tank before adding a fish like a flounder. You could get some corydoras catfish to help clean up, but silver dollars get to be a decent size for a 30g tank. You should really only add something that would be easy on the bioload.

Graavity has some valid points, you really don't mention how big your tank is; or how old you silver dollars are. It really is not a good idea to raise wild caught fish. They harbor all kinds of germs and chemicals that could really hurt your aquarium water quality. The wild caught fish would also be stunted and suffer in an aquarium. In the long run, be careful what you add to your tank. Let us know how many gallons you are actually using so we can give you a better idea.

I'm assuming he's referring to a 30g tank he mentioned in an earlier post.
