hi got this from another board i post on....heartwarming indeed.........today is her one year anniversary .....she died a year ago but her story is heartwarming.......

That's a nice story. Does anyone ever watch Animal Planet, Animal Cops T.V. show? I'm not sure if it runs in other countries besides the U.S. Anyway, as sad as the show is and as angry it can make us feel, it does have some wonderful success stories. The saddest and most angering one I saw so far was this poor dog who was left tied to a fence for months. He was tied with multiple layers of wire, chains and jumper cables. The wire dug down 3 inches into his flesh around his entire neck. This poor dog was in such agony with this open flesh wound. Grrrrrrrr.

Well, they saved this poor dog, got him all healed, but they ended up having to euthanize him, as he has food aggression, supposedly making him not adoptable. Very sad. Sad
