The only thing I could find was the greater scissor-tailed rasbora.
It may be that your LFS has given that name to the fish. Try and
post a picture, or ask them for a scientific name on the fish. Is the
fish freshwater or salt?
Common names are hard to track down. The scientific name would
be easy to research on the web!

| well really its a fresh water salamander i forgot to mention that earlier sorry.... i have 4 of them the biggest one is bout 2 1/2 feet and the smallest is bout 1 foot... they only have 2 legs not 4 like regular salamanders and four toes on each foot... ive looked on the web and found some info on greater sirens but not much. not what im looking 4 anyways... ive found info on the habitat fedding etc... but nothing about breeding or sexing them... one has laid eggs but im not sure if they r fertile or not.... but the ones i have r greater sirens not the lesser sirens...they look somewhat like a freshwater eel... |
