Does anyone else have one? My cat is on my lap right now, sitting here, loves to go after my fingures as I type. He's plush, long hair, black and white male. He is a hyper lil guy, also the most advanced out of the litter, but hyper and crazy..lol Atleast he likes my lap.

Pumpkin, Milo, and Rene will sit on our laps if we're sitting by the computer or on the sofas. Monty Boy won't. It's my fault. I plucked him off my lap when he was a kitten. He kneaded my legs too roughly and he never sit on our laps anymore. However, he will nap by our side or sit on our chests.

Moe is a lap cat. She used to hate physical contact but now she comes running every evening I sit down on the couch. Now that I have a laptop she sleep on my calves or knees. I always have sore legs now, but she's too cute to shoo away! I'm very happy she only weighs about 5 pounds!

3 of my males are lap cats. My 2 females and 1 of my males like to lay near me but not usually on me.

my 3 cats each have their lap cat moments, but leiper -- the little female -- is the most consistent. she's such the girly girl too -- always primping to make sure every hair is in *exactly* the right place. she also gets very "mouthy" when i pet her -- licking my hands and anything else she can get ahold of!! this is the little beauty queen:

I wish Footsie were more of a lap cat, but he doesn't sit still long enough! He does sleep on/near me at night, but thats about it.

By the way, he's getting better about keeping me awake, in case anyone remembers me complaining about that last month. He seems to understand that when the lights go off, the playing stops. I just can't read in my room at night or he gets confused.

Very pretty kitty. Goldie is a lap kitty, Jimmy sort of, and Simon hardly ever. Leaves more laps to go around! Smile

Hi True_Pits. I didn't know you had cats. How many do you have? Do they get along with your dog(s)? My cat's name is Handsome and he is not a lap cat at all. Maybe once every 3-4 months he'll actually hop on my lap and I feel so honored! It's so rare that when he does hop in my lap I think he's must be sick or something (which he never was). He's a really cool cat, who loves to be pet, but he's Mr. Independent.

p.s. Moose: Your kitty is so pretty. Your post was funny when you were talking about how she has to have each hair in it's exact place. LOl. Well, she looks like she's doing a fine job!

I have 3 cats, and my one cat Lucy (we call her the unsociable one) only loves to be by me and sit on my lap when I am at the computer....She purrs up a storm and chases the cursor and mouse. Ha ha. Its soo cute, I almost hate getting off the computer b/c that is our only "bonding" time.
Moose--your kitty is Pretty! Smile
